One of our new monthly blogs will be special features on wedding venues we have covered. This month we feature the Richmond Hotel which is a beautiful grade 2 listed building situated in the heart of Liverpool and one we have had the pleasure of covering numerous times over the years.
The venue is licensed to hold religious or civil ceremonies for a maximum of 180 guests depending which room you decide to choose. The Atrium is a spacious room which boasts high ceilings with a stained-glass roof and is an ideal location for your drinks reception. The William & Kane Suite can cater for both large and small weddings. The room can cater for up to 150 guests for dining and 170 guests during the evening reception.
There are 3 main wedding packages available, ranging from the Silver Package, Gold Package and the Platinum package which includes extras such as 20% accommodation discount for guests. They also have an evening reception package available which includes a complimentary Junior Suite for the happy couple. No matter what your requirements are, they will have a suite which is ideal for your special day.
The Richmond Hotel has 152 hotel rooms so there are plenty of options for guests who would either like to stay the evening of the wedding or have a nice long weekend break with Liverpool City Centre, the World Museum & The Albert Dock just a few minutes away. The venues location really is one of its key features, especially when it comes to offering further photographic opportunities. We love going to the Albert dock with the Bride & Groom to capture some romantic shots, plus it also opens up the opportunity for you to hire a wedding car which then offers even greater ease of access to get to various photo locations whilst also giving you some personal time together. It also means the Groom has a chance to arrive at the venue in style!
We've always found the staff warm, friendly and happy to assist and there is always a nice relaxed atmosphere which in turn lends itself to capturing candid, intimate moments throughout the day.
