
It's been an emotional rollercoaster for the vast majority of couples over the past 6/7 months. Restrictions within the hospitality sector have left a lot of couples in limbo, with many unsure if to postpone their wedding to a later date or to go ahead with the wedding but with the day completely revised.
Emma & James were one of our couples who went ahead with their wedding with current restrictions in place. Their special day took place at the absolutely beautiful Oaktree of Peover and they have been so kind in sharing their thoughts on how the day went and how certain things differed to how it might have been on a normal wedding day.
Hair & Make-Up Preparations
"My make up artist Faye Kenyon and hair stylist Vicky M Hair both had to wear masks during preparations. I loved both of them and was happy with how I looked. Even though my bridesmaids were unable to get changed with me due to social distancing and mixing households, it all worked out fine. The morning was very chilled with just me, my mum and Maid of Honour."

When I got my dress altered at Stockport Wedding Services I had to wear my mask which was perfectly fine and my mum was also able to attend. I was going to wear a plainer dress on the big day due to the numbers being smaller but I’m glad I didn’t now!"
